Hey Sam,
How are things going? Not sure when you will get this email, maybe once you get to Texas. You will probably get two. I sent another email last week on Thursday night and I guess you wrote on Thursday day. Your mom didn't tell me that. Anyway hope things are going good.
By the way, have you taken any pictures? If so send some home. Good to see what is going on.
Yesterday we went up to Kolob and I helped Bevin and Dale build fence on another piece of property they have picked up. It is the garden of Eden The creek from Kolob lake runs through the middle of it. I fished it, but didn't catch anything. It is supposed to have some big trout in it. I think I will spend some time up there since it is so nice.
We attended the missionary training this evening and looked for you in the choir, but didn't see you. We looked real hard and they did quite a few shots of the choir. Were you in it?
Christian Bell spoke in church this morning and will be set apart on Tuesday. He invited me to attend so I will probably go to that.
Well that is about it. I'm sure you mom filled you in on everything else. I need to start the email and write in it each day so I can remember what is going on. Pretty much the same old stuff.
We are praying for you. How did things turn out with the guy you were teaching?
Love Dad.

to me
I've taken a few pictures but my camera is kind of a piece of junk so they aren't very good.
I feel sorry for Christian because I wouldn't want to spend 9 weeks in the MTC 2 weeks seemed like forever while I was there! Time is flying now though its already July! When we got here we had dinner at the church some sisters from Colleyville made this bbq beef brisquette with homemade sauce. Holy cow it was like heaven in your mouth! The houses here are massive! All of them! I haven't seen a single small house accept in the trailer parks. And I haven't seen a single house not made of brick. Great place to be a mason I guess. There are ponds everywhere here and it makes me want to go fishing really bad. Well I have got to go.
Love you,
Elder Johnson
