Hey I made it to Texas! It's pretty awesome I love it. I don't know why this makes me so happy cause no one really listens to us but it doesn't get boring and I cant stop smiling :) I never thought it was possible to sweat for nine straight hours without stopping. Besides my cheeks being a little sore I'm loving riding my bike. I look pretty spiff in my helmet :) I decided I need to crash at least one time to make it worth buying. I saw my first armadillo! It was squished on the road. The food we get is super good but we usually only get fed dinner so I am starving the whole day until five.

My companion is Elder Daley. He is really nice I like him a lot. He is from Colorado and has been out for three months. He just finished getting trained a week ago. We get lost a lot. He is kind of a goofball. He is one of those lord of the rings/harry potter/video game guys so we don't have a ton in common. He does like spongebob though so thats good :) He ate it on his bike the other day it was pretty funny hahaha he told me I cant tell the other elders about it.

We are teaching a few people which is nice cause otherwise we just tract and tracting is dumb. The people here are super nice and everyone is Christian so they don't want to listen to us. I've only had one door legitimately slammed in my face so that is good. We are teaching a man named Evon. He is awesome I love him! He has seven kids so it's always pretty crazy at his house. He really liked when we taught him about the Holy Ghost because we said it brings peace. He has soooo many questions. We are also teaching a woman named Celia she is a hispanic lady and is really nice. We taught her the first time on Saturday. We taught her about the plan of salvation because her dad recently died and she is worried about him.

There is so much I am leaving out but that is the main stuff. I'm running out of time so I guess I'll talk to you next week. You just have to read my journal when I get home so you can see what you missed.
Oh my address is
5001 Par Dr. Apt 3722
Denton, TX 76208

I love you,
Elder Johnson

I only have a minute to write, you probably are getting last weeks emails, so here is a quick update of this week.

Brad got married Saturday. It was a nice temple wedding. After the wedding we took pictures outside. It was really hot 111 degree's. It has been hot all week. We had a luncheon after and that was good. We had the missionaries over for dinner about an hour after the luncheon so we were pretty full, but we ate again with them anyway. They seem to be nice missionaries. The last set were lousy according to Bevin. Don't be a lousy missionary.

In the evening on Saturday they had a reception in La Verkin for Brad and Erin. That was nice and more food, so we got plenty to eat on Saturday.

This weekend we had a parent workshop at the school. It was well attended. We to the parents on a hike up to the Kanaraville falls. That was really cool. Never been there before. It was a bit of a hike and some of the older parents had a hard time and had to go back. It was like 110 degrees, but once you got into the canyon it got much cooler.

Christian Bell went into the MTC this week. He was really excited to go.

Last night I taught the mission prep class for Dale, he is going in for a procedure that he had to drink this stuff that would give him diarrhea and clean him out, so he was not wondering to far from a toilet. For mission prep class we talked about journal keeping. It was fun and we did some roll plays. There were about 24 kids there.

We have sold two dogs now and a family came over last night for ice cream and she is a photographer and took a bunch of pictures and said she has some connections to post the pictures and should get some responses also. Every little bit helps. With two dog's sold we have covered our expenses of having the puppies, so everything going forward is profit.

Well that is about it. Keep up the good work. We love you and pray for you each day.

Love Dad.

Did you go out tracking? How did you get in contact with 3J. It was a great analogy about making his mom happy. It sounds like the spirit is with you guiding and prompting you.

We didn't see you at the broadcast. Were you in the choir? Even though you do not think you have a great voice you should take every opportunity to join in singing because you do have a good voice and nothing can bring the spirit faster than music. It is so powerful and you can be a part of that.

I learned at the broadcast that you were practicing your missionary work when you were texting. Who would of guessed?

Christian Bell gave his farewell today and sang with his sisters. He did a great job. He will be going into the MTC on Wednesday.

We haven't sold any puppies yet but he have had some calls and people stopped by. We have reduced the price to $350 hoping that will bring us some sells.

Well if I thought I missed you last week I really missed you this Monday, Dad and I spent 3 hours doing the yard work. When are you coming home?

Tuesday I went to the Temple. Brad's fiancee went through to take out her endowments. Dad had Mutual.

Friday I was tired of doing the same walking route, so I took Daisy out by the golf course and we went down to the river. At the very top I tripped and went down on my knee's. They were all bloody and I wanted to just turn around and go home. But I decided to just keep going and they soon quit hurting. But when I got closer to the river the deer flies started biting. I made it to the river and washed my knee's off and climbed back to the top. Now the front of my legs are all scratched and the back have big old bug bites. I guess I should have just stayed with the same old route.

Yesterday, dad went with his brothers up to Kolob to work on some fences so Grandpa and I took the razr out and headed up to the Browse, which is a place on Pine valley, from Toquerville. We couldn't get clear up on top because they had it closed for the summer because of the fire precautions. We had fun any how.

Well that was my week. Hope to talk to you on Tuesday. I'll have my phone with me.

I love you,
MOM
