Hello again :) Another great week in the mission field :) This week was pretty packed so it went by really fast! Monday was Pday then on Tuesday we had zone training then on wednesday we had a conference in Colleyville with Elder Neil L Anderson and Tad R. Callister, then thursday was planning day then friday we did service all morning then on Saturday I was on exchange in Sanger then sunday was church :)
The conference was awesome! It's always great to hear from an Apostle of the Lord. He talked a lot about the Atonement and how we as missionaries need to use it in our lives so that we can understand it better. They also talked about not comparing yourself to other missionaries which is hard to do. Another thing that was talked about was helping our investigators truely repent because it is about conversion not just being baptized. We all got to go up and shake their hands so that was really cool. There were over 560 missionaries there so it was pretty packed! It was both the Dallas and Fort Worth missions. I got to see my old MTC buddies so that was cool :)
Roberto is doing great we are so excited for him! He is getting baptized on September 27th. He said he prayed about the book of Mormon and he knows that it is true :D he is the best I love that kid.
Our service was for John from Guam. We helped move this stuff out of a house for him. It was a ton of stuff! John always feeds us well when we do service for him :) He always makes some guamese dish haha if thats what you call it. He makes the best egg rolls ever!
Well the exchange was pretty fun. I went up to Sanger with Elder Johnson and Elder Miller and Elder Honey came down here. There wasn't too much excitement though. It seemed like everything we planned fell through. We did find a few potentials tracting so it wasn't a completely unsuccessful day. Well transfers are on wednesday. I am staying here as junior companion yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :) Elder Daley is going to weatherford :'( so sad. I am going to miss Elder Daley we had a lot of fun together. It's good though he needed to be moved he has been here for six months and I can tell his enthusiasm is waning hah He is going to a car area though so he is pretty stoked :) He hates riding his bike haha and it is falling apart.
My new companion is Elder Hew Len. I don't really know anything about him so I'll let you know next week.
Elder Simmons is going to Waco to be a district leader so that is cool. I'll miss him too, Elder Simmons is the bomb. Elder Stanworth is staying here and is with Elder Austin, who Elder Daley is like best friends with. Elder Daley was always talking about how he wants to serve with Elder Austin hah
Well that's about all of the excitement going on here. I hope everyone is doing well. Have a wonderful week and share the gospel with someone!
Love,
Elder Johnson

Dang that was a pretty sweet video! I bet that was intense :) Thats too bad that the bass pond isn't filling back up I wonder what the deal is. Did you fish it? That's good that you are getting rain though. It is finally cooling off here thank goodness. Well I am out of time. I love you.

Hi Sam,
Hope you get this email. Cade sent me a video he shot on Saturday out hunting elk with a friend of his and I thought I would forward it on to you. Not sure if you can look at this kind of stuff. If you are not supposed to don't. You can look at it when you get home.
I only have a minute and mom probably filled you in on most everything. She probably told you about the rodeo and the motorcycle riders. That was really cool.
Saturday I went with Bevin and Dale up to Grafton to cut up some limbs that had fell out of a tree and then we rode up to Smiths Mesa to look at the cows. We have received a ton of rain this week and everything if really green and the ponds are all full, except the one with the bass in it. For some reason it is still really low.
Well got to go. Hope you have a good week and can view the video. Work with faith and look at everyone as a potential convert.
Love Dad.
