Wow! That is all I have to say about the MTC. It is so amazing. There are so many sister missionaries! The Spirit is so strong and i have already learned so much. It's crazy how much they fit in one day when I am writing in my journal at night i look at my schedule to remind me what i did throughout the day and some of the morning things seem like they were weeks ago. My companian is Elder Reas he is awesome and i like him a lot. He is a big polynesian kid and laughs at all my jokes so it's pretty great :) When you ask him where he is from he will tell you he was born in california moved to hawaii for ten years then moved back to california for ten years. There are 3 sets of elders and 3 sets of sisters in my district. I am the youngest out of all of them. Elder Reas, Kaelin, and I are going to Texas, and elder Knight, McElroy, Smith, sister Reid, and sister Briscoe are all going to Provo. Then sister reusoeu, griffin, kern, and anderson are going to Wisconsin. The sisters are all really cool and seem pretty normal. I like all of the elders too but some of them like elders smith knight and McElroy are a little odd. We met the mission president on the tuesday and him and his wife gave really good talks. Another sister, Sister Roach, also spoke. She told us that we are no longer able to call each other guys because we are elders and sisters now and guys are the boys back at home that are dating our girlfriends haha she was really funny. So we are all trying to help each other break the habit of calling each other guys. Besides that we have mostly just been going to class and studying. We did have a thing where we would have like fifty missionaries in a room and there was one investigator and we would try to teach them and answer their questions. It was kind of frustrating because you just want them to get it but they dont and there is nothing you can do about it, it is all up to the spirit and the investigator. I've realized that it is very important to get to the point because if you dont the subject will change before you ever get to your point if you beat around the bush. I got to play basketball yesterday which was fun. I think the Lord was testing me because the last couple months whenever i did bad at basketball i was having a hard time controlling my temper and yesterday i was awful! Luckily i was able to let it go and then everything seemed to start going for me. Yesterday evening after class we met our branch president. After talking to us for a while he started taking us out one by one and interviewing us. Elder Reas and I were called to be zone leaders which is pretty cool i think so we will be over three districts. Elder Kaelin was called as the district leader and Sister Anderson was called as the Sisters training leader. I don't really know what we are supposed to do yet but we are in training so hopefully i find out soon. This morning we had the opportunity to go to the temple. We had to be there at six thirty so we had to get up a little early. It was really nice to be able to sit in there and not really have anything to do. We did an endowment session. Today is p day so i am doing laundry while i am writing this even though there isn't much laundry to do. I love it because the days don't seem super long but it seems like we get soooo much in. I feel like we are constantly eating though. I hope all is going well there. Besides a little bit the night before i left i haven't been nervous at all which is nice. I've heard a few elders sniffling when the lights go off so that is kind of sad but i think they will be ok. I'm going to need to start writing stuff down that i want to tell you about because i'm sure there is so much i missed. There are only a few things i was wondering if you could send me. Some more black socks, a loofa, and another bag because my bag is definitely not under fifty pounds. Oh and maybe some mints would be nice :)
